I'm disappointed that my mum isn't here to see my results and i'd just love to have a hug from my mum and knowing she's proud of me would actually make my day. I guess if my mums looking down on she'll be happy for me but i wish she was here.

Hey, sorry to hear about your Mum. My father died when I was in high school and I'm sure my brother is feeling similar.
Did you do well?

Your mum WILL be looking down on you today and WILL be proud of you.
This I know because my son gained 8 GCSE's today and I am proud of him. And if I hadn't of been here I would still have looked down on him with pride
Congratulations. The world is proud of you all

it's like being homesick and not being able to go home, that's what I felt. Well done on your results!

My son was a twin who's brother died at four weeks. He should have been collecting his GCSE's today too.
Wanted to let you know that you are not alone in your grief.
Again, well done and best wishes for the future
